Presentation Dinner Held on 28th February 2025
Kings Arms in Cardington
Another successful dinner was held at the end of February at the Kings Arms in Cardington. The food and service were excellent and the conversation and banter was on top form.
Trophy pesentations took place after dinner to a number of bandits, sorry I mean players!
- Last Years winner, Tony Angell was presented with the Green Jacket, winners Shield and the much coveted Parrot Trophy
- Keith Thompson won the trophy for the three clubs and a putter competition at Christmas
- Captains Day winners trophy went to Chris Patterson
- Captains Day second place trophy went to Michael O'Brien
- Winner of the trophy for the most nearest the pin and nearest the pin in two over the season was Chris Patterson
And of course Golf was the real winner!

Four tee times will be booked for each venue, with the first tee at 1.00pm unless stated otherwise, including bacon roll tea/coffee on arrival. Guests are welcome at the society rate of £40 per society day.
The cut off time will be 9am 10 days before the Friday society day, (i.e. on Wednesday the week before), after which time you will be required to pay even if you or your guests subsequently drop out - unless we can fill your place.

We emphasise the 'friendly' nature of our society but there are some basic rules and etiquette we would like all members to follow
Golfguard Insurance
Ickwell Golf Society are able to offer members Golfgard Bronze Insurance cover for the following:
- Personal Liability up to £5 million
- Accidental damage limited to £5,000
- Personal accident up to £50,000
- Hole in one bar bill up to maximum £100
- There are no excesses on any of the above
Joining dates are every 3 months from 23rd April 2024, please apply 2 weeks before each quarter date. The full annual premium of £5.50 is payable for cover up to 22nd April 2025 no matter when you join.
